Resolved Custom Registration Form - Need to fire "sync" for Easy Profile

Hello,
I've got a custom registration form that works fine. Stores all the info in the Joomla profile where I want it.
The only thing I have not worked out is how to fill the "lastname" field from the form into Easy Profile

I did notice however that when I "sync" the users, it splits the Joomla "name" to "firstname" "lastname", which is ultimately what I want.

I've stared at the developer docs for hours and not made any headway.

Help would be very much appreciated.

Hi and sorry for late reply.
Can you plase tell me what kind of plugin/component do you use for your registration form?

the "Sync" button uses a backend script, so you cannot use it for this purpose, also it make an operation for all missing users (where user missing in Easy Profile table).
If you use a Joomla component that trigger Joomla plugins than you can do this with a simple Joomla user plugin and we can help you to develop it. Otherwise if you have a way to trigger a PHP script then we can send you the PHP code that do it
