I have an issue that only impacts some users.

They edit an easy profile field value and save the changes but the changes aren't written to the database.

If I sign in and edit their profile via admin backend then same problem. It looks like its saved but it doesn't get written to the database.

This only impacts some users and I cant work out why. They can edit their standard user fields, just not any of their easy profile fields. No errors are displayed.

Help - its driving me nuts.

I have to resort to updating their details directly in the database table using phpadmin.

Thats the issue, or part of it. As a super user you should be able to change any user profile. The change seems to be made but doesnt get written to the database. If you look at the profile history tab it should show what has been changed. What I see on the problematic users is that the profile history shows the change I tried to make but it isnt written to the database.

You had lost super user setting. I have re-enabled it.

If I disable the plugin called "jsn - jsn FHSCsync" then I'm able also to edit users previously not editable....probably there is some error in this plugin that break the storing process
