Hi,

When I try to use a multi-selection and that the user doesn't select a value (it's not a required field), the filed appears in the profile (with the mention "No information";) instead of simply not showing.

It the field is NOT a multi-selection one, it works: empty fields don't appear on the profile.

Is there a way to make empty multi-slection fields disappear from the public user profile?

Thanks a lot.

Best regards,

P.

ok, I think this is a bug of this old version.

We recommend you to update to latest version.

TIP before upgrade
Version 1.3.12 is very old, it was released about 9 months ago (sep 2015), in the meantime we have made many updates. So we recommend to make a backup before update (this step is always recommended).
Still, from version 1.3.x to version 1.4.x we have introduced a feature to skip template override for registration/edit profile pages, read here for more info: http://docs.easy-profile.com/index.php/article/upgrade-140

Hi,

I'm currently developing the site on local...

So, it's not supposed to happen that way, I gather? There's no option, somewhere, that I simply missed?

I just noticed that I have the same issue with checkboxes.

Thanks for helping!

Best regards,

P.

Yes, if you have enabled parameter to hide empty fields on profile (in Easy Profile options) this should not happen (I have just tried).

Which version of Easy Profile?

Update: If I manually delete database entries looking like "[]", the empty fields disappear... I don't know why some fields have been filled with that "non information", but there it is.

Problem solved.

Thanks again for your help.
