My current project is a little more complex. I am using Easy Profile, JFusion and PhpBB. I just have one question - without doing a core hack, is there any way to allow the image field to select a directory that IS NOT a child of Joomla's image folder? If the restriction could be overridden, that would make bridging across multiple platforms a LOT easier.
If this is not possible, how would I go about creating a custom avatar field type for my use case? All I would need to do is have the ability to upload images to the folder I select. Thanks!
