my testing group have all encountered this problem so I also tested it.

uploading a new profile image results in a 404 error (see attached). the image does load, but it is confusing. hitting the back arrow in the browser returns to the profile editing page. if you 'cancel' you can see the image has loaded. but most people thought it didn't work at all.

In addition to the recurring 404 page error, information saved to the User Profile tab when editing the profile does not save permanently. I've had this problem myself, several times now. Information will be saved for a period of days or weeks, then disappear completely.

anyway, have you created a menu item of type Easy Profile->User Profile and a menu item of type Easy Profile->Social Network? both menu items are required to allow to the plugin to work properly.

Please try again.. I tested this and it works here.

Once logged in, the social network is a sub-menu item under Your BMC Account > Etna Alumni Social Network.

i am using a different theme, created as a duplicate of your default theme and then edited some colors to blend with the website.

After an investigation I found a small problems in our update servers, now with the next updates you should see a message in Joomla backend like all other components.
