yes !! i will explain better:
when i go to add a friend, the confitmation screen does not go away. Also, i am attempting to add profile questions but the don't appear on the new user screen.

Yes this is normal, I found 1 custom field with "Available for" parameter set to "Registered", so when user try to register a new account not show this field because he have only "Guest" permission. Try to set this parameter on "Public".

to import users you can use our import plugin.

- Download "Import Plugin" from Download Section
- Follow docs at https://www.easy-profile.com/docs/45-import-user-plugin.html
- When using this plugin you will see an example of CSV

Sorry for acting stupid!! I tried the import option and it failed. I can only save the file as a csv, i don't have the option for ;. please find attached my csv file, please help

CSV is a simple text field, so try to put this with a text editor:

username;email;password;firstname;lastname

tester;[email protected];Steve;Shakey01

With a text editor you can replace all TAB char with ; in one step.
