Ajax search is now working on change of value in fields but its not working if e click on search button. It is getting redirected to blank page. Please help.

Thanks for report this, we will fix in next release.

Now this button works so because search module can be shown in all pages (not only in users list pages). On differents (from Users List) pages you need to have a button to launch search without ajax. Of course, better solution is that in Users Lists page the button change own behavior.

May I please know when is this defect going to get solved?
