Resolved Avatar and Edit Profile Email Field Issue

Hello,

I am needing assistance with something. I have made a lot of custom CSS modifications to my site and had the avatar's working a day ago. Something has happened in the meantime and now when selecting the file like and attaching an image, it does not load. It does show up in the directory where they are saved, but on the front end it is the default avatar and not the uploaded picture.

Also, I am getting an error as well when the user tries to modify their profile. It automatically fills in their email address with what was provided during login. But, for example, if you go into the edit profile view and then dont change anything and then enter your password twice and click submit, it has a message at the top stating that the email address is either already in use or it is not in the correct format. It was automatically filled in by the system and not modified, so why would it be saying that? Then, if you go and retype the same email address in the box - same error. The only way around it is to change the email address to something else.

Could you help me with these issue? I am in desperate need and have to send out an event invitation where over 100+ people will be booking with us and I can't do it until this issue is resolved.

Hi,
to solve problems you need to set all menu items of type Users->Registration Form with "Guest" Access, no make sense that registration menu item is available also for registered members. You will find also a error message that explain this in Administration->Components->Easy Profile.

can you please post me backend and FTP details?

if you hurry, you can try to use Crop & Webcam feature, maybe it works. To enable this go to Administration->Components->Easy Profile->Choose "Avatar" field->Enable parameter "Crop & Webcam" in Image Option tab

problem with Crop & Webcam function

1. in file custom.css at line 789 you have this:

p.readmore .btn, .btn-primary, .control-group button, .edit button {
display: inline-block !important;
padding: 6px 38px !important;
margin-top: 5px !important;
border-width: 1px !important;
border-color: #812929 !important;
color: #ffffff !important;
background-color: #812929 !important;
}

so you will see also hidden buttons

2. in inline CSS code you have this:
img { height:auto !important; max-width: 100% !important; ....

these directived cause that image in preview not show correctly because is impossible for javascript set image height and width

if you fix 1 and 2 you will see something like screenshot

Without Crop & Webcam I will check the problem
we need backend access and admin access to check this.
