Change the alias on duplicated fields

When I duplicate a field by pressing "Save as Copy", it won't let me change the alias. Is there a way around this?

sorry for late reply.
No sorry
, alias is the name of the column in the database. in future we will add this features but for now it is not possible, you need to delete and recreate a field.
