Hi,
of course, Easy Profile extends Joomla user management (not replace), so the registration page is the same of Joomla.
To enable the captcha you can use the same way of Joomla:
- Configure Recaptcha plugin from Extensions->Plugins
- Enable Recaptcha in user registration from Users->Manage->Options
