Resolved create 2 profiles based on two different user groups

Hi,

I purchased the pro version to make sure I can create two profiles based on two different user groups. It looks like it is not possible. I dont see any profile creation after installing it.

Here is what I want to achieve

two profiles - one agent and another landlord

frontend users will choose the profile and then enter all details then register

for example agent profile will be linked to agent user group
landlord profile will be linked to landlord user group

then both profiles will have different fields

user register profile with those fields and then register to that usergroup

please tell me if this is possible?

As per your features, it is possible.

If it is not possible, please refund my money as I bought this thinking to use for the above purpose.

Hi,
yes you can use condition to do this, for example:
You can create a select field with two or more options like this
1|Agent
2|Landlord

Now on this field you can set two conditions like
- if equal to custom value "1" add to usergroup "Agent"
- if equal to custom value "2" add to usergroup "Landlord"

You can also choose which field show for each profile type.

You can find conditions on Fields Parameters (see screenshot).

Thanks for your quick reply. So I can have a maximum of 10 condition right? My intention is to have two different forms one for agent and another for landlord. Is it possible?

Yes, Easy Profile extends Joomla user profile, not replace, so the registration form is only one, but you can do this with a small trick.

Follow these steps:
- Create a menu item for registration called "Register Agent", this menu item will have for example this url /http://index.php/registration
- Create a hidden field available on registration and edit profile with this parameters:
Default Value: 1
Condition 1: if equal to custom value "1" add to "Agent" usergroup and show Agent fields
Condition 2: if equal to custom value "2" add to "Landlord" usergroup and show Landlord fields
- Keep in mind the alias of hidden field
- Create a menu item of type External URL with this URL /http://index.php/registration?alias_of_hidden_field=2 called "Register Landlord"

with "alias_of_hidden_field=2" attached on URL you can change default value of hidden field to 2, here a tip: https://www.easy-profile.com/docs/27-set-default-value-in-registration-from-url.html

Force the compilation of the required fields on login?
Yes, with this if you have a required select field to choose usergroup when the user do a login will be redirect on edit profile page and forced to compile this field.

I have now another problem:

Here is the scenario:

select field - having option 1, 2, 3, 4

4 different field - such as field1, filed2, field3, field4

Can I have the conditon like as below:
choose option1, display all 4 fields
choose option2, display all 4 fields
Choose option3, display all 4 fields

I tried , but it is not working for me.

Hi,
yes because conditions have two ways. for example:
if you choose option 2
- Condition 1 hide fields
- Condition 2 show fields
- Condition 3 hide fields
RESULT: you have all fields hidden

The best way is to set one condition in this scenario:
- if equal to custom value "option4" hide all 4 fields
