I need to implement a service web site which let visitors to search users by custom fields using a form.
For example: I have a directory of users with custom fields like city, age, gender, etc. Is it possible to create a custom form to search using these custom fields? For example a form in which I can select just age 18 and rome as city, in order to get all female and male of rome city and 18 years old.
Another question: Supposing I create two custom fields like arriving date and departing date, is possible to search as range from arriving date to departing date?

sorry for late reply, it was night for us.
When you create a date field you can choose the type of display (screenshot 1)
If you choose Age the form will be same as screenshot 2.
If you choose Date the form will be same as screenshot 3.
For City you can use 2 way.
- Gmap field - In the form you can't choose the city but you can choose a radius to search
- Select list - You can choose a city as Option of dropdown list, but you must configure the option (various city) before. Also you can load the option of dropdown from DB source (screenshot 4 for available parameter)
In search results must respect all conditions. So, Yes, you can search just age 18 and rome as city.
