Easy Profile is very very light, few lines of CSS ( into file /components/com_jsn/assets/css/style.css ), this because we use Bootstrap CSS classes (like all Joomla built-in components) and to inherit style from template.

In our style there is not background or font color statement, so all these things come from your template. We do not recommend to change our style.css file because when you update Easy Profile then this file will be overwritten.

Is there a custom css code I can use or a css file to modify?

All things about style should be contain in your template style, then the custom CSS should be loaded by your template.

We can help you, but to understand your problem we need to see your site, can you provide e your site link?

to fix background you can simply add this CSS code in your template.css file (/templates/blacksharkden/css/template.css)

.table-striped tbody > tr:nth-child(odd) > td, .table-striped tbody > tr:nth-child(odd) > th {

    background-color: transparent;

    

}

While I got you, how can we hide some of the users?

Yes, you can use parameter SQL Custom Where to set a permanent filter on this User List, for more info about this read docs at http://docs.easy-profile.com/article/sql-custom-where

Examples

To remove user with ID like 200 and 234

user_id NOT IN (200,234)

To exclude Super Administrators ( 8 should be default Super Users usergroup ID )
