Hello. I just bought the Pro membership of Easy Profile, and I'm having problems with a few things:

First one is: how can I insert a menu item that will list all the registers from a specific field? For instance, a few weeks ago, you guys did set up a demo PM for me, and I had users that could register as musicians, visual artists or actors, and you had defined three menu items on top that showed either one of those. How can I do that?

My other question is regarding the default fields. How an I change that? I'm trying to unpublish "registered date", since is something I do not have use for, but I keep getting the following message every time I try to unpublish certain fields:

Error
Edit state is not permitted - Check the configuration to change the default fields

I haven't been able to locate where that configuration is. In the settings tab, I cannot fin anything related to default fields.

Where can I modify that?

Thanks!

Hi,
sorry for late reply, it was night for us.;)

First one is: how can I insert a menu item that will list all the registers from a specific field?

You can create menu item of type Easy Profile->User List and set parameter SQL Custom where to filter user by custom fields (screenshot 1). documetation of the SQL Custom Where here: https://www.easy-profile.com/docs/69-sql-custom-where-list-and-module.html, Also you can check this on our demo site.

My other question is regarding the default fields. How an I change that?
To manage core fileds you can check into Administrator->Components->Easy Profile->Options (example name style) see screenshot 2. "register date" field is a Joomla core field and is required for all users. if you not want display this into profile you can set to not visible on profile (screenshot 3)

Thanks for your answer, but I still don't know how to change the default fields. I have a "name" field that I want to unpublish from my form, but It keeps saying Edit state is not permitted - Check the configuration to change the default fields. The message seems to suggest that is possible to change the default fields. How can I set up the default fields? That does not appear in the "options" button that shows in the screenshot you sent.

Thanks

Hi,
sorry for late reply, it was night for us.

From configuration you can set some parameter to publish/unpublish core fields.

example:
format name consists of the union of the firstname, middlename and lastname. With "name style" parameter you can set which field are publish or unpublish. So if I set "only name" the fields middlename and lastname will be unpublish.

Easy Profile extends Joomla user profile management (not replace), so the name field is required for Joomla.

Thank you for your Answer.

I have another question. Is there any way to make multiple conditions within one field?

What I'm trying to do, is this: I want to have a last name field that will appear only if the user selected either Option A or Option B from a Select field, but if the user selected Option C or D, such field should not appear.

Thank you!

Hi,
you can set options for Select Field like:
option_a_1|Option A
option_b_1|Option B
option_c_2|Option C
option_d_2|Option D

and set condition for this field like:
- if contain 1 show last name

Now if contain 1 show the field else hide field.

Hi, thanks for your answer, it was very useful. Now I'm trying to remove a group of data named "Basic Settings" (which has the fields "Editor, Time zone, and Frontend language" below), that shows while you're looking at your user when you're logged in. Is there a way to remove this info?

Thank you!

Hi,
you can remove this tab from Joomla Users Manager Option.

Go to Administrator->Users->User Manager and go to Options.

Set "Hide" on "Frontend User Parameter" option
