Resolved DoB field not well represented

Hi I created a DoB field with field type "date". I see the correct data in the SQL database, but in the profile it shows as:
dddd-mmmm-yyyy. Each character is doubled. So today would be represented on the user profile as: 1717-0303-1616.

I have updated to version 3.1.17, but no effect.

As far as following all recommendations: I get a recommendation from the system: create a Easy Profile menu to the User Menu. I have done so, but there is no difference between the "your details" and Easy Profile. Is there something I do wrong?

Hi,
try to check date format parameter, if you want to show something like dd-mm-yy you need to put this: d-m-y

see reference at http://php.net/manual/en/function.date.php

In alternative you can set "Display Type" parameter to show something like "24 years" instead the date.
