Hi,
Easy Profile extends Joomla user management, not replace it. The registration page is the same of Joomla with many improvements, so basically the captcha is generate by Joomla captcha plugins.
You should configure the Joomla captcha plugins and set to use it in Users->Manage->Options (like without Easy Profile)
