I would like to encrypt some custom fields I have made with Easyprofile. I have seen that you can interact with Joomla to do encryption on passwords. Can you explain or help do this? Maybe you could make a checkbox next to a field like "Encrypt this field in the MySQL database"?

Hi,
sorry this is not possible with a simple way.

Joomla store only the hash of passwords, so you cannot use these functions.

from password you can calculate hash
from hash you can not calculate password
