Resolved How to add a menu item to a user profile?

Hi!
I would like to have a direct link to the user profile, something like this: http://my-domain/john - This would be something that I want to offer to VIP users only, so it doesn't have (can't) to work for everyone.

Hi,
for now the only way is to create a System -> external URL menu type and put the Url of user.

I add this to our TODO list.

I tried this before asking, but it doesn't work once the system -> external URL does not have a alias, the alias would allow me to define the path.
