Is it possible to display text on the registration page? or in a new group?

You can use delimeter to put Html code between fields or in field groups.

But for your first question I think the better way is to use a module or template override.

I am using a delemiter to add the text and hiding the title, will this work?
its working but the alignment is all screwed, so i would like to do something else.
