Resolved Login issues

Good day. I've read a number of posts about this but I remain unclear. I'd like to have users be redirected to the current page when logging in. However, if I leave it set to default they go to their profile. I read somewhere that "current" should be the setting but that does not seem to be an option for me. Am I missing something?

In the past we have called "Default" option as "Current". With this options Easy Profile do nothing, and redirect is managed by Joomla (or some third party plugin if available).

However, if I leave it set to default they go to their profile
This is a Joomla behavior, you can create a login module and set redirect (see screenshot from Joomla default login module).
