Resolved Migrate / Import from Community Builder

Hi,

On our forum.joomla.fr I had already seen many times that Easy Profiles was mentioned and appreciate.

Actually, it is the first time that I use it... and it is indeed suuuper cool !
Powerful and yet easy.

So now I want to get rid of Community Builder which I installed many years ago on one of my websites.
I see that importing directly in EasyProfiles can be made with the Import Plugin:

But do you know what is the best way to migrate from CB to EasyProfiles ?
In particular, is there a direct way to do that ?

Hi and sorry for late reply,
unfortunately there is not good practice to make this, I think that the best way is to export from Community builder in CSV and reimport the data in Easy Profile.

NOTES:
- CB and Easy Profile extends Joomla users informations, so the fields like username, password and email are stored in Joomla, you need to import only custom fields
- To export data from CB there many tools, but I have not experience with this, I can't recommend any
- Easy Profile need that all fields are already existing, so before the import process you need to create them
