Resolved no email-to button is shown

I thought there is a possibility to send a private message from one contact to another without showing the email adress. Is that right? How can I activate it?

In Easy profile settings there is the option in "Layout Settings" " Add 'Email' button when user is linked to a contact". It is activated but no envelope symbol shown in the profile of a person.

Hi,
to see the "Email" button then you need create a new contact from Administration->Extensions->Contacts linked to a user.

You can make this operation to be automatic for new registered users by enabling the plugin called "User - Contact Creator" from Extensions->Plugins, this plugin is provided by Joomla but normally disabled by default.

If you want to create a contact for already registered users then you may thing to launch a SQL query like explained in this topic: https://www.easy-profile.com/support/joomla-contacts-component-integration-what-about-the-pre-existing-users.html
