Resolved Problem with google map field

Hi

This is all about Google map field

Suppose I type and select “Venice Italy”;)
And then go to edit profile and without changing anything, I click submit button the Venice Italy
changes automatically to some address as -- “Strada della Rosina, 30142 Venice, Italy”

I think and expect that it should not change, I don’t know it is a bug or problem with Google map

Also in edit profile the map does not loads correctly (plz see the image). I have checked it on different templates.

Hi, this is not a bug, Google Maps field must set a latitude and longitude, this is linked to address.
In future we will search different solution to choose country or city.

the placeholder is generator by the google maps api.

if you want customize,
you can add this code in file /administrator/components/com_jsn/helpers/fields/gmap.php at line 71
