Resolved Select field - get values from non Joomla db

Hello,

is it possible to get values in select list from database which is on same server but doesn't belong to Joomla instalation?

yes but the table must be in the same DB.

Hi,
we prefer to restrict at same DB for security purposes, we use only Joomla API to connect on DB.
