Can you please provide us with the dimension/size requirements for changing the user profile cover images? We have matched the dimensions of the default "cover.jpg" file but no matter what size we use the upload fails = users cannot change their profile covers. There is no indication as to why the upload fails (size/dimensions issue? user permissions issue?).

* Love this whole product, it has had a major impact on the validity of our site, but the documentation really needs some work ;) I would bet 50%-75% of the questions (like this one) posted here would never get posted at all with thorough documentation (I know from our own experience this always takes a back seat to development/support but it is very powerful/ROI once established :)

Hi,
sorry for late reply, it's a weekend for us :D

Directory is /media/socialnetwork/uploads/covers

I think there may be some problems with some plugins. Some plugins written headers also in ajax requests (this is wrong), so the ajax answer from server is corrupt. If you do not find the problem, please send your site details, you can use the form below the reply in "Site Details" tab.

oh, and also -

there is still no indication as to whether there are any minimum/maximum size requirements for the Profile Cover image and what they are, if so (we dug through to drill on the default cover.jpg image of 1680px x 1118px for anyone looking for optimal size)

Hi,
fully respect the development side, etc. but consideration needs to be taken that other components, modules etc. will always be deployed in any Joomla! install -
Yes I agree, but some plugin is not working properly or has a workflow incorrect or change the output of the other components. Anyway, what we wrote was just a guess, if you send us your details we will check this issue.

The system resize cover image to 1000px X 286px. User can also crop this image. (see screenshot)
You can customize size of cover, these parameter is into code at line 209,210 of file /plugins/jsn/socialnetwork/app/config/bootstrap.php
