Resolved Username field size

Hello Support Team,
I have a question for you.
I used EasyProfile in my website.
I noticed that, when new users try to register to the website, they put into 'Username' field names too long!
I would like to specify maximum lenght for Username field, so that users must choose an abbreviated name.
I looked into username field parameter but there isn't the option 'field size'.
How can I reach this aim?

Hi,
sorry this is not possible, this is a core Joomla field, and it already use a Joomla validation for usernames.

So... for Joomla is correct if someone use as Username 'A very very long name with spaces' like this??
I do not understand this behaviour.

Yes, Joomla allow this.

we will take a look to add this feature, but this is not so simple, because we need to override Joomla validation.
