Resolved What "condition" is the best to solve Field Action

Hello...

Please what is the best Condition to apply to this field in this situation.

1. i have fields A,B,C,D,E,F
2. When an options is selected in A filed, i want B,C,D,E,F field to appear for the user to fill in the remaining fields. But until a user select one option from A, all other fields are not visible.

What condition to apply? and this condition must be applied on A field?

Hi,
try now, I have removed these fields from CATEGORY's condition, now they are hidden only from condition in field Highest Qualification

you can use a condition like this in field A
- if equal to custom value empty (leave empty custom value parameter) then hide fields B,C,D,E,F (Inverse yes)

I tried the condition you suggested but yet not resolved.

Under the education tab, higher qualification.. yet all other fields are present on the registration page. which means the condition did not apply ... see image for the setting i made...

Hi,
probably there is also other condition that affect these fields, please check that CATEGORY field does not affect visibility of these fields.

Hi,
I have checked well to the best of my ability the CATEGORY but could not find any.
See screenshot, this screenshot comes from conditions called "Condition 1 cat.Option" in category field, you can see that these fields are affected also by this condition.

now what i observe is the condition when i follow your instructions, after making the condition, the custom value is not empty, after saving it will always show "1"
I have just tried and seems to works

then in the registration process if you chose Expert category, under the "education tab" the result always is when you click on the options its hide other fields instead the other way round.. can you try register to see the behavior when you reach the education tab ?
In the registration process I did not see Education tab, because it is not available in Registration page

I have just enabled the "Education Tab" to registration page and i have set the condition you sujjested.

Yet, all the fields that i want to hide before options is selected are still visible on the tab..

can you please have a look now

Yes,
basically before when you select "Expert" than the condition on fields "category" will make these fields visible, So I removed these fields from this condition, with this these fields will be still hidden after you select "Expert" option
