Dear Sir,

Thank you in advance for your time.

I'm very close to buying this extension, but I want to check a couple of things first. I hope you can clear things up for me.

Is it possible to:
1) Allow users to choose a user group and then connect using social login? I.e. the user select one of three groups (e.g. group A, B, C) and then clicks 'log in with Facebook'?

2) does the Easy Profile component override the standard joomla registration page? And if so, I'm assuming that the user can select a user group from the registration page?

3) If it's possible to select a user group during registration, is this option also available in a pop-up registration form?

Thank you so much for your help,

Best,
Ben

Hi,
1) Yes but not directly, you can create a simple select field and set conditions to add to correct usergroup, example:
3 options:
A|Group A
B|Group B
C|Group C
3 conditions:
if equal to custom value "A" add to usergroup "Usergroup A"
if equal to custom value "B" add to usergroup "Usergroup B"
if equal to custom value "C" add to usergroup "Usergroup C"

In Easy Profile options you can also set usergroup for Social Connect login for each Social Network Platform

2) Easy Profile extends Joomla user managment (not replace), so the registration/edit profile form is the same of Joomla (tab are generated by javascript code on default Joomla registration page).

3) Not by default installation, this is Joomla registration form. To do this you need some PHP, Javascript and Joomla Knowledge.
