Hello

I would need to manage the activate/disable through easy profil. Would it be possible ?

the idea is to put this field accessible for manager users from frontend. the registered themeslves cannot touch it of course.

would it be possible ?! thx !

Hi,

we have parameter "Available for". this parameter sets who profiles can have this field available. So if you set this parameter on "Manager" than "registered" users will not have this field (frontend and backend). Read the tip on parameter for more info.

if you want a field to profile "registered" users and you want avoid the modification by user, you can set this field to not shown on edit profile. This field will be visible only on backend.

No sorry (for now). In future we will improve our product. We are planning to make editable fields in the frontend exactly as in the backend for who have edit profiles privileges ;)

ok hope that it will available soon. one more thing. I need my registered member validated for 1 year. It would be like a subscription, but without any payment online. is there any way to do something like that ? maybe using a date field ? any suggestion ?

Hi,
yes, but requires the development of a plugin. We recommend to use a component for subscriptions, typically these components work also without payment.

ok that's what I thought. Do you recomend one which would work with easy profile ? As "my profil" menu item from easy profile overwrite the joomla one, subscription options are not shown.

On this website we use payplans, but for something like this you may try a free alternative.

Yes only profile page, but Registration/Edit Profile pages are the the same of Joomla* (no overwrite), Many subscription component make you choose the type of subscription in the Registration Form of Joomla, these should work without problems.

* tabs are generated by a javascript and custom fields are created by our User Plugin on Joomla default registration/edit profile pages
