Another question regarding the button "edit the profile" from the front-office interface of the site. when i click on the button edit after having to identify of course. the link redirects me to the home page without giving me the opportunity to edit my profile ?
Probably this happen because you does not have any menu item of type "Users->Edit Profile". Without this menu item edit profile page inherit home page menu item id.

Try to create a menu item of type "Users->Edit Profile". If this not solve your issue then please send me your site details to check this (you can use the form below the reply in "Site Details" tab)

no sorry it not works for K2 articles.

Anyway, in the coming days we will search some workaround to work with it ;)
