I tried to increase the thumb size of the Avatar pic, but nothing changes on frontend.

Any help on this is much appreciated.

Hi,
the image shoud be resized, but in order to have a responsive design the size may limit with CSS.

see screenshot, the image resized by this CSS rule:
max-width: 100%;

Just curious... Where was that screen shot taken from? My profile doesn't look anything like that right now. For some reason the Registered Date and Last Visit do not even show up.

I can add the max-width: 100% but that only enlarges the image. I really like how your screen shot looks though. How can I achieve that look?

Perhaps a misunderstanding :p , I'm telling you that resizing works, but what you see on the site may be controlled by some directive CSS: for example if I have image 400x400px and you have a CSS rule like this image{width:50px} the image will be displayed 50x50px, please check this.
