You cannot install Jomsocial bridge in a Joomla installation with Jomsocial component. I think that there is a misunderstand on what Jomsocial bridge do.

If you have a component that have an integration with Jomsocial and not with Easy Profile (Jomsocial is much popular than Easy Profile) then you can use Jomsocial Bridge to use the integration of this component to retrieve Easy Profile avatar and profile link.

How can I get the easy profile information to also be shown in jomsocial such as avatar,

I just don't see why this is called jomsocial bridge for easy profile. It would mean it is a bridge for jomsocial and easy profile to work together. This was the reason I bought easy profiles.

I see in the menu you can choose the menu item for edit profile, but this just edits the jomsocial normal profile. Which has no easy profile information in it.

It is called so because it is a bridge for component that does not have an integration with Easy Profile. Component->Bridge->Easy Profile
It is not a integration with Jomsocial.

This was the reason I bought easy profiles.

Jomsocial Bridge is free and works with Easy Profile free.

Easy Profile extends Joomla user information (not replace it), so the registration/edit profile form is the same of Joomla with many improvements. Instead Jomsocial replace Joomla user registration/edit profile, so you cannot see normal registration/edit profile form (Joomla + Easy Profile). Of course due it is not the default form and it is not compatible with all Joomla users plugin then Jomsocial should have a option to restore Joomla registration/edit profile.

About this we does not provide integration to do this, anyway we are taking a look to met this requirement for you
