I want to be able to filter a group of contacts based on a custom field I have created in Easy Profile. Is this possible? I see how I can do it based on a user group but what about a field?

This is the Field: ML# (or Part 2 Grad) (Alias: ml-number-test)

Hi,
Yes, you can use any field alias to build your custom sql where.
In addition of field alias you can use group_id and user_id.

Do I need the underscore instead of spaces if I use field alias?

How do I use it in the statement if my field alias is "ml-number-test" and the value I want to filter is "ML2"?

Have you tried this:
ml-number-test = "ML2"

If not work use this:
`ml-number-test` = "ML2"

ML2 is the value of option or is a text?
In the custom where you must insert a value.

Still, the quote of fields in Sql are with ` not '

If you want we do for you but I have tried your site details and not work! Can you resend me please.

Ok,
Now work, the problem is due to wrong configuration of option of your field, the correct is for example:
ml1|ML1
ml2|ML2
Value|text

The option field works even with your config but the data stored in D are a little unpredictable.

Thank you so much!!!
One more question - for the Select Field, are you saying I should put the values in like this:
ml1|ML1
ml2|ML2
Value|text

What will the user see? Just the ML1?

Thank you!

Yes,
The user show ML1.
You can still use a joomla constant language for text(managed from joola language override).
