Easy Profile - Joomla Extension

You can find vendor/author name from Extensions->Manage->Manage (Estensioni->Gestione->Lista Estensioni)

NOTE: of course I hope there is a way to work with this plugin anyway you can do same thing with Easy Profile:
- Create a Select field type
- Add your options
- Add conditions to add user to some usergroup, for example you can have these options:

1|Assistenti Sanitari

2|Cittadini Altre professioni

3|Farmacisti

....

and these conditions:
if equal to custom value 1 then add to usergroup "Assistenti Sanitari"
if equal to custom value 2 then add to usergroup "Cittadini Altre professioni"
...

Advantages to use Easy Profile:
- You can manage this field in Easy Profile, so you can move it between the fields
- You can translate options (names of Usergroups), see docs at http://docs.easy-profile.com/index.php/article/translate-fields.
- Condition to hide/show other fields
- Show field in frontend list
- Search by this field
- Import, Export

I was just looking at them ... and it seems that at least User Profile is built-in Joomla (see attachment) being indicated in the column Author Joomla! Project

I had already thought to redo the user group with Easy Profile, but in this case the usergroup data for users who will register in the future will go in the same database field of those already present (i've more than 3000 users...)?

yes you have right, this way can create problem with already existing users. Do you have some SQL knowledges? if yes then we can help you to sync existing users with the new field, this can be done with 1 query for each usergroup to choose in the registration.

Instead if you want to keep plugin User Group then we need to check the code because the author/developer is not available, so can you please send me plugin code? you ca create an archive of folder /plugins/users/profileGroup

yes I know sql, but I have to keep userGroup plugin because the user data structure is connected to an email marketing service (outside joomla) not managed by me that does not allow me to change the user table fields;

The purpose of Easy Profile is to extends Joomla user management, so it's important that all user plugins works also with it.

Please try to use the fix attached to this reply, you can install it via Joomla installer. if it works then we will include in next release
