I use PayPlans to manage subscriptions. I want to have a field in registration form in which users will select a category from it, but i want to have different category groups for each plan.

Hi,
I explain with an exmaple, I assumed 2 usertype type1 and type2.

Create 2 groups for usertypes:
- Go on Administration->Users->Groups and add 2 usergroups child of Registered: Group type1 and Group type 2

Create Accesslevels
- Go on Administration->Users->Access Levels and add 2 accesslevel "ACL type1" and "ACL type 2", in "ACL type 1" choose only "Group type 1", in "ACL type 2" choose only "Group type 2"

Create radio field to show in registration
- Go on Administration->Components->Easy Profile and create a field of type radio (set to show in registration and not in edit profile) with these option:
1|Type 1
2|Type 2
- Set 2 conditions on this field: if equal to custom value 1 add to groups "Groups Type 1", if equal to custom value 2 add to groups "Groups Type 2"

Create plan groups
- Go on Administration->Components->Payplan->Configuration and set on Yes the parameter "Enable Plan Groups"
- Go on Administration->Components->Payplan->Groups and create 2 groups "Plan Group 1" and "Plan Group 2"
- Assign the plans to new plan groups

Create menu item for Plan Group 1
- Go on Administration->Menus->Your Menu(main menu) and create 2 menu item of type Payplans->Display Plans/Groups
- set groups parameter on "Plan Group 1"
- set Access parameter on "ACL type 1"

Do the same for Plan Group 2

______________

Now when user register an account, Easy Profile assign User groups based on value of radio field. The use will see only menu item with plan for your category

Hi,
sorry for late reply it's a weekend for us.

- Create Usergroups for each type of user.
- Create a select field and assign with condition an usergroup to each option.
- Create accesslevel for each usergroup
- Create different plan group for each usergroup
- Create menu items of type "payplans->Display Plan/Group" for each Plans Group and set correct accesslevel

I do not know if this is the best solution, you can try to contact ReadyBites to ask How set accesslevel or accessgroup on Plans.
