In Joomla we have created an ACL User and Group for 'members' which is assigned to the members of our group. We only want the 'members' to appear in the membership directory we've built—not any of the other Joomla user types such as Registered, Administrator, etc.

How do we accomplish this?

Hi,
sorry for late reply, it was a weekend for us, to make this you can use the parameter called "Custom SQL Where", here you will find some example (also example to restrict usergroups) http://docs.easy-profile.com/index.php/article/sql-custom-where
