Resolved Easy Profile is updating url error

Hello,

We have purchased jsn Easy Profile but when i am updating it it is showing error please check.

Hi,
probably you have not filled Download ID in Easy Profile options, in the recent versions we have added a message in the Easy Profile backend, but probably in your old version this message there is not. Docs at http://docs.easy-profile.com/index.php/article/get-download-id

We have not an option for download id

We did not update easy profile yet and we can't update it because some fields we have customized it Please let me know how i can fix it old version.

Hi,
sorry but I not understand, you tell me that you can't upgrade (due to customization), but this error comes when you try to upgrade to latest version.

If you want to upgrade Easy Profile then you can simply download and install it via Joomla installer.

Upgrade by Joomla Updater (with Download ID) or via Joomla Installer (with downloaded package) is the same thing, in both of cases it will replace all files.

"Download ID" should be the first parameter in Easy Profile configuration.

I have emailed your guys that my update url is giving error xml url not found please let me know how i can update it.

Hi,
this is very strange, the config xml from your site have download ID.

Anyway this is not a great problem, as I said you can download latest release from our site (https://www.easy-profile.com/download.html) and install it (from Joomla installer as normal Joomla component), Easy Profile will update.
