I have just parted with my hard earned and purchased the pro version of your software.
I realise it is still young, but you really do need to deal with the documentation - it sucks.
I tried your free version and felt it had potential, I had assumed that the groups section was a way of splitting the profile information up into groups. Well after an hour I have given up trying to make sense of it.

At the moment it is only usable for the most basic of profiles and not worth paying for.

Please get some documentation sorted as it is a great idea that just needs finishing.

Mark

I agree the documentation needs to be improved.

At the moment it is only usable for the most basic of profiles and not worth paying for.
Please explain me your scenario, We can help you on how to do it ;)

Ok, I've spent a bit of time getting my head around this. As I said previously it has great potential - what I cant seem to work out is how to get the profile information to display in a contact.
As I said earlier the lack of documentation is very frustrating.

Hi,
sorry this is not possible, integration with Joomla Contact make a direct link on linked contact page (see screenshots).

this is not a documentation problem because this integration is described in the features.

You can get the profile information to put in articles or modules with our Content Plugin, here examples https://www.easy-profile.com/docs/26-plugin-content.html

You can also retrieve user data with our API, here examples https://www.easy-profile.com/docs/38-jsnuser-object.html (for developers)

Ok fair enough,

Plan B -I have created a html module to display the data I require, unfortunately I must be doing something wrong as all I am getting is error messages.

In the module: This
{user <do_you_judge> <770> }
returns "JUser: :_load: Unable to load user with ID: <770>"
and in an article:
This
{user <do_you_judge> {contactinfo userId} }
returns "JUser: :_load: Unable to load user with ID: {contactinfo"

The alias is correct I copied and pasted it.
What am I doing wrong?
regards
Mark

It looks like I cant display the full syntax on your forum it keeps stripping out the alias's

Hi,
I see your code and I found 2 errors:

1. you need to remove < > symbols

2. {user {contactinfo userId} } this is not our syntax*

* or maybe it should work by playing with the order of contents plugin. If you run first contactinfo plugin, it should be render a id of user and after our content plugin should work. This is just assumptions, content plugins are not designed to work in a nested mode

Thanks for the quick reply, I had assumed the <> were required. Every thing is working great now.
Sorry the second one is not your syntax its being used to integrate your program with Contact Enhanced - so far its looking very promising. I will let you know the end result when CE finishes working with it.
