Resolved Easy Profile - Social Network bug

Easy profile component is working fine.

But when i try to enable the plugin 'Easy Profile - Social Network' it gives me blank page on all user pages(means all pages for only logged users like help-desk, profile page, log-out page) etc.

I am using Joomla 3.1.5
component version JSN pro 1.3.3
socialnetworking plugin 1.0.5

what is the issue?

Also please let me know is any community component is required to set to integrate community kind of features? or only socialnetworking plugin is enough?

Please advise.

Hi,

Thank you it is working!
My PHP.ini file configuration was wrong!

It is working fine when correct php.ini file is edited with:

extension=pdo.so
extension=pdo_mysql.so

so 2 steps to solve this issue.

1) correct php.ini
2) Apply patch

I think you are missing the PDO Mysql Library on your PHP configuration, please read system requirement at https://www.easy-profile.com/docs/91-system-requirements-socialnetwork.html

To enable this try to add on your php.ini this code:
extension=pdo.so

extension=pdo_mysql.so

hope this helps ... i use gantry .. and read in another post, that theres maybe a conflict.
please let me know, because this is only a test site.

Can you please post me your FTP access or install an Joomla file manager? We will fix this

Hi,

I have applied to my php.ini file

But not working.

My Joomla tempalte is also based on granty framework.

so i have apply this patch:

remove this code from file /plugins/jsn/socialnetwork/lib/Error/exceptions.php at line 514 and at line 515

But did not work.

Please help.

When i enabled 'Easy Profile - Social Network' and all users pages gone! just white blank space. other pages are working fine.

Indeed there is a compatibility problem between Gantry and this component.
I'm running Joomla 3.3.6 and Gantry v4.1.26 on a Linux box.

So have you figured out a solution yet?
Every time I activate the component I get a blank page.
I am running Nginx.
I checked PDO support and also PDO Driver for MySQL and both are enabled.

So has this issue been fixed with an update, or do I have to make a decision between Gantry and EasyProfile?

this has not yet been fixed, but you can use a workaround by following the instructions:
