Hi There

On the map module, is it possible to integrate a search option to display results within the map? So if I wanted a city search and upon typing, it shows results in the map rather than using the other search module and it then going to a page?

Hi,
sorry this is not possible.

But you can do something like our page at https://www.easy-profile.com/users-list.html:
- We have a search module to search also location
- Map module have option called "Sync with User List menu item" set to "Yes"

so map module show users in according with search results, so if you search for a specific location then you will see only result in the map (see screenshot)

Maybe this is possible with a simple workaround, you can hide user list with CSS code, see screenshot

but then you'd have to add it on a page and wait for it to load, how they have the site at the moment, its all in one. the drop down and search show it on the map instantly, and i'd need it in a module rather than on a devoted page

Hi,
I know, keep in mind that this is not possible and it is a simple workaround.

of course, map is a module and you can override view to make something like this, but this not simple and require many Javascript knowledges.

To override output of module you can copy file from /modules/mod_jsnmap/tmpl/default.php to /templates/your-template-folder/html/mod_jsnmap/default.php and edit new file.
