L.S.,

After a few years of excellent operation of the Scoial Network Plugin we have an error when trying to add a new blog-item or a blog-item photo.

Joomla (latest version) site: https://lns-seniorencoach.nl/ :
- PHP 7.4.9
- Yootheme Pro template/pagebuilder
- 'Critical extensions' disabled; Admintools Pro, JCH-optimize. e-Privacy, Aimy

Bugs at https://lns-seniorencoach.nl/lns-sociaal-netwerk :
- When adding a new blog-item nothing happens, the circular-arrow-icon keeps spinning
- When adding a photo to a new blog-item the photo is 'missing'.

See attached Word-document for screenprints (page, chrome-devtools-elements and ~ console.

For the record: adding a reaction/comment to an existing blog-item seems to work OK.

Best regards,

Hans Doeve

I have added the default values ('', two single quotes) to all the tables/fields you mentioned.

Result is that the first problem (adding a post) is solved.

But the second problem (adding a photo to a post) is stil there.

Hi,
with a tools like PhpMyAdmin (normally it is provided by hosting providers) you can add a empty default value for following columns:
#__jsnsocial_activities.text
#__jsnsocial_activities.content
#__jsnsocial_activities.items
#__jsnsocial_activities.params
#__jsnsocial_photos.caption
#__jsnsocial_albums.description

see a screenshot from table #__jsnsocial_activities

Seems to work allright, both problems fixed.

So what went wrong and how/what/where did you fix it?

If have two more site's with this plugin installed.

(One of them has a different but fatal problem. I will come back to that one in a separate thread).
