Resolved export / import CB members

Hello,
a/ I managed to export members from an old site where members have CB fields. I imagine that it is not possible to recover them?
b/ I want to import the list on the new site with at least all the fields of Joomla. How to do?

a) Have you exported users in CSV format? if yes then you can import them with Easy Profile

b) Unfortunately Easy Profile does not allow you to import Joomla Custom Fields.

Do you need to append old users to some existing user or this new site does not still have any registered users (of course except Admin account)?

Hi,
I do not see how to import the list in csv format created with the easy profile export?
You can find import tool at Components->Easy Profile->Import Users (see screenshot)

Just to be sure: with "all the fields of Joomla" you mean core Joomla fields or Joomla core fields + Joomla native custom fields?

If you need to import only Joomla core fields then you can simply use Easy Profile export/import features (of course export with EP is possible if your old site run Joomla 3.x). Instead if you need to import also Joomla native custom fields then I recommend you to copy DB table contents from old site

Hi,
I understand that EasyProfile custom fields are different from those of Joomla. I hope that one day it will be the same or compatible.
For now, the fields are almost all those of Easy Profil
I have many in another project, can I export / import them in EasyProfil new site?

You can export users and their Easy Profile custom fields values in CSV (see screenshot 1 from Joomla Admin->Users->Manage).
After export it then you can import users in the new site with Easy Profile import tool.

NOTE: export feature will export only users values and columns header (that contain the alias of each field). To import users you need before to create same fields (if the alias is different then you need to change the alias from old site in the header of CSV).
