login in and creating an account with social connect is really usefull and simple!
But it introduces also some problems for users (and therefore for me
)...Because registration is so easy, people connect with e.g. their facebook account (and a joomla user is created for them).
After some time they come back and press the twitter button expecting to login to their account, just to find themselves equipped with a second account....
This happens on a regular basis and forces me to do some housekeeping: copy twitter id to user account with facebook id etc. remove account created with twitter...
Would it be an option to have an extra check that is configurable:
when I press on one of the social connect buttons and there is no associated Joomla user: popup a message stating that 'a new account is to be created > do you want this yes or no'.
This would at least ring a bell if the user expected to be logged in and triggers him to try it again with the correct social media platform.
