I have some problem setting up the facebook integration (I do have a PRO version). The documentation is a few versions behind on the development environment and the easy profile component.

I have setup the app at facebook as a "website" (is this right?). Here I was also not sure what the app-domain should be (but i filled out the domain of the website). After that I setup the component for social connect. Here Add to Usergroups was not mentioned in the documentatio, but I filled it our with "registered". My plan is that people login and become registered users so that the can few registeres users only content. However what i get is a message saying

"Waarschuwing

U heeft geen toegang tot het privégedeelte van deze website."

Which means Warning, you don't have access to the private section of this website.

When I check the user I see that it username, e-mail and a facebook id are in the system, however the user is not assigned to any group.

So what am I doing wrong here??

Actually that might be the root cause of the problem, if i try to add a user group manually to one of the users Joomla replies: "Username already in use"..

Hi,
remove parameter "Add to Usergroups" in your configuration. "Registered" usergroup is automatically assigned by Joomla, this is set into Administration->Users->Manage->Options (button)->New User Registration Group (parameter).

Maybe this create a conflict.

Anyway, Can you please post me your site details to check this? you can use the form below the reply in "Site Details" tab.

Hi,
sorry tried with another device on another network, but I can't access.

I don't have 2 factor authentication
This is not 2 factor authentication, this is HTTP authentication, maybe you have some security tool like Admin Tools?

No but, perhaps my provider has something like this on. I'll have to check with them. I'll get back to you.
