Resolved formatName showing on emails sent out for registration when using {name}

It seems that using a custom HTML email message using placeholder of {name} does not show first name or first/last name combination. How can I ensure that the placeholder returns a name and not "formatName"?

Hi,
if the HTML email is built with Acymailing then you should use Acymailing tag plugin, docs at https://docs.acymailing.com/addons/joomla-add-ons/easyprofile. Of course something like {name} return a Joomla name (so firstname and lastname)
