Hello there,
as mentioned in the title, I want to hide the User Profile menu item alias in the URL of every profile page. Is this possible, and if it is, how can I do that? I also installed an extension called Direct Alias Pro (I'll link it below) which offers hiding aliases of article URLs by categories, so a possible solution would be to store all profiles in a custom article category and hide the alias of it.
Big thanks in advance
Magnus

ok, sorry but this is not possible with Joomla native routing, Joomla do this only if you have Easy Profile->Profile page menu item as Homepage.

Probably you can archive this with some third parts components, but unfortunately I don't know one to recommend
Maybe you can try SH404SEF (https://weeblr.com/joomla-seo-analytics-security/sh404sef), this is a commercial component (not free), so you should ask to developer if this component met your needs

Hi,
users have not categories but they have usergroups.

You can create a list for each usergroup by using "Custom SQL Where" parameter, see examples at http://docs.easy-profile.com/index.php/article/sql-custom-where

If you explain me your purpose maybe I can guide you to make the correct configuration ;)

Hi,
sorry for late reply, it was night for us.

With Joomla native routing this is possible only if you set menu item of type Easy Profile->User Profile as Home Page.

Probably you can archive this with some third parts components, but unfortunately I don't know one to recommend :(
