Resolved How to remove the core Joomla Fields?

Hello!

We are setting up custom profile fields, but have no use for most of the core Joomla fields (i.e. About Me, Favorite Book, etc.) is there a way to remove these fields and only use custom fields?

Hi,
these fields come from "User - Profile" plugin. This is a Joomla built-in Plugin and disabled by default in all Joomla installation.

So, go to administration->Extensions->Plugin manager and unpublish "User - Profile" plugin.
