My client is using Easy Profile for the site for all of the users.
We decided to create a 'directory' of people using the joomla contact manager. using Core Joomla custom fields for joomla contacts, we want to be able to EDIT the user entries using the custom fields.
I'm using a tool called trobiniscope by Olivier Buisard, who created a plugin, so when a contact is linked to a user, I can edit those custom fields when I edit the profile.
HOWEVER, because my client is using easyprofile, it seems that 'easy profile' is taking over, and I can't use 'core joomla' at this time.
Ideally, what I want is for a specific 'group' of users when they go to 'edit profile' to use the 'regular editor', and NOT easy profile.
What can I do to trigger this to happen?

Hi,
Easy Profile extends Joomla user management (not replace), so the edit profile page is the same of Joomla with some improvements (with Joomla user plugins and javascript code).
With Easy Profile you already use the Joomla core edit profile page.
Unfortunately we does not have experience with "trobiniscope", therefore we are not able to help you
