Resolved Integration with Active Directory

Is it possible to map fields from active directory to easy profile fields? I want to create additional profile fields in my company intranet but I don't want users to populate this info as its already stored in our active directory. Instead I want to create a mapping that will allow the data in AD to show in the users profile in joomla/ easy profile.

is that possible?

Hi,
we have an option to hide fields on edit profile page.
If you want you can make a field available only on profile page (no edit and no on registration).

one thing: the hide on edit option for field work only on frontend. On backend you can edit this fields.

Hi but can you tell me if its possible to map fields between easy profile and active directory? I'm not concerned about whether a user can see the information or not but how it will be populated.

I want to essentially automate the population of the fields from a source outside of the intranet (i.e. active directory).

Ok, no sorry.
but I think that there is nothing that makes this for Joomla.
To synchronize data you need to write some scripts.
