Is it possible to integrate OpenStreet Maps instead GoogleMaps?

I vote for this too. Google is untrustworthy to say the least. OSM is open source as is Joomla.

However I recognize this would be under consideration after the main features of EP are finished.

Hi,
for now we does not plan to do this, Openstreetmap have some limitation, like geocoding APIs (it uses nominatim that has a strict Usage Policy)

Further, the only way to increase the limit seems to be to set up your own server.

"If you need to do that number of requests, you can set up your own instance of Nominatim on your own servers, using the same freely available data as the OSMF servers."
